The Bay of Fundy

The Bay of Fundy is one of the 7 wonders of North America, with the highest tides on earth, the rarest whales in the world, semi-precious minerals and dinosaur fossils. Located halfway between the equator and the north-pole on Canada’s stunning east coast, Fundy is a unique coastal environment. Deer Island is a part of the Fundy Isles. Access the Island by way of ferry from Letete, New Brunswick (a 45 minute drive from Calais, Maine), Campobello, New Brunswick or Eastport, Maine. The incredible tidal current of the Bay of Fundy creates unlimited adventure and breathtaking views.
